Process

Our advanced continuous tyre recycling process ensures efficiency, consistency, and sustainability at every stage.

From controlled feedstock selection to precise pyrolysis, recovery, and refining, each step is designed for optimal resource utilization and minimal emissions. This closed-loop process converts end-of-life tyres into valuable outputs such as Pyrolysis Oil, Recovered Carbon Black and Steel, supporting a circular economy.

Continuous Tyre Recycling Process Flow

How Does Our Process Work?

At Gravita Europe SRL, we operate a state-of-the-art continuous tyre recycling plant, designed for robust efficiency, environmental responsibility, and product consistency. Our continuous process enables us to maximize material recovery while minimizing environmental impact, transforming end-of-life tyres into valuable secondary raw materials for various industries.

1. Collection & Sorting

End-of-life tyres are collected from various sources and sorted to ensure consistent feedstock quality.

2. Shredding & Preparation

Tyres are mechanically shredded into smaller pieces for efficient processing and to facilitate uniform input into the next stage.

3. Continuous Pyrolysis

The prepared tyre material is continuously fed into a specialized, oxygen-free reactor. The controlled high-temperature environment breaks down the rubber, yielding valuable outputs such as Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO), Carbon Black (CB), carbon crumb, and steel.

4. Product Separation

Recovered materials are separated and refined using advanced mechanisms, ensuring that each product meets our rigorous standards.

5. Quality Control & Packaging

All products undergo strict quality control before being packaged and dispatched to our industrial customers across Europe and beyond.

FAQ's

We use a continuous pyrolysis system that ensures efficient, safe, and eco-friendly recovery of valuable materials from scrap tyres.

The system operates in a closed loop, ensuring minimal emissions, zero discharge, and full compliance with European environmental regulations.

The outputs include Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO), Recovered Carbon Black (rCB), Rubber Crumb, and steel.

Every batch is tested in-house using strict quality control protocols to meet client specifications and international standards.

The recovered steel is cleaned, sorted, and sent to steel manufacturers for reuse, contributing to a fully circular process.

Yes, qualified industry partners and clients can schedule guided visits to understand our process and quality standards.
